For 18 – 30 year olds with childcare
qualifications you can stay for 6 - 12 months and receive
an allowance of between €260 - €400
per month plus own room and free board.
You will be living with a carefully selected
professional family and minding the children for no more than
45 hours a week, while the parents are at work.
You are not required to do any heavy housework.
Your duties are mainly related to minding
the children, doing their laundry, cooking their meals, helping
with homework and driving them to and from school and their
after school activities.
You must be prepared to work with under two
year olds.
You have 1.5 – 2 days a week free (mostly
in the weekends) as well as two weeks off to travel while
still receiving your allowance.
Cost: 12 month program $1,960.00. This includes international airfares, insurance, help with visas, preparation meeting and material as well as support both in NZ and Germany.
